Mozilla Festival EastAfrica

As a community that supports and uses open standards, we have been talking a lot about  open web technologies, So we want to bring it out to everyone interested in the open web and the best way to do this is to team up and make the most of each other’s experiences to achieve our goal of openness and innovation on the web.
The MozfestEA is an event that will be full of workshops and hacks with people aiming to build together the future of the open web, so join Us, “Let’s work on a project and make it happen together “

Shaping the web’s future together
Technology alone cannot build the web the world needs,” says Mozilla’s Executive Director, Mark Surman. “For the web to stay open, accessible and free, we need people who understand the web’s basic building blocks, are able to create with them, and empowered to take control of their online lives. MozFest East Africa brings together brilliant people to tackle that challenge – through hands-on hacking, open collaboration, and imagining how the web can do more and do better.”
Getting hands-on with open web tools and teach each other how to do things
